Right of way and parking – Inextremis Aventura
The Gourg des Anelles canyon, located in the commune of Céret in the Pyrénées-Orientales, is a remarkable natural site. Contrary to what one might think, it is not a freely accessible public space. The canyon is located entirely on private property, and any access authorization depends exclusively on the property owner.
Right of way
Access to the canyon is strictly reserved for professionals who have received authorization for rights of way from the owner.
Inextremis Aventura is one of six companies to benefit from this official right of way. We are therefore authorized to organize canyoning excursions in compliance with the conditions set by the owner.
Our commitments:
Supervision by certified or state-certified canyoning professionals, respect for the environment and private property, limitation of the number of participants per group and the number of 2 daily visits to preserve the tranquility of the area.
Parking exclusively in areas authorized by the owner
Inextremis Aventura also has a parking permit in an identified location near the site. This parking lot is reserved and allows organized access to the start of the canyon, without disrupting traffic on the D13F.
Unauthorized access
Non-commercial free practice (individuals and federals) is still tolerated, but in pose, drop off practitioners on the access road to the canyon. All parking is prohibited on private property along the D13F. We remind you that any parking less than 1.50 m from a departmental road is prohibited.
We remind you that accessing the canyon for any commercial activity without authorization constitutes trespassing on private property and is subject to prosecution.
Out of respect for the property owners, it is imperative not to venture out alone or with unauthorized personnel.
