Ideal for taking the first steps in canyoning with the little ones (from 8 years old), the Canyon of Terme Inférieur located in Amélie les Bains is the funniest canyon in the Pyrénées Orientales for children.
This activity presents no major challenges, other than moving through the river and making jumps, all of which can be avoided. The descent is enhanced by a discovery of the geology and wildlife of mountain torrents.
Here too, the erosion of the waters of the Terme and Mondony rivers has created its masterpiece, shaping immense blocks of granite and schist in this Mediterranean-like valley…
