Canyoning for families and children!…
Ideal for taking the first steps in canyoning with the little ones (from 8 years old), the Canyon du Terme Inférieur located in Amélie les Bains is the most fun canyon in the Pyrénées Orientales for children in the Pyrénées Orientales (66).
This activity does not involve any major difficulty, except to evolve in a river and to practice jumps which are all avoidable. The descent is enhanced by a discovery of the geology and fauna of mountain torrents.
Here too, the erosion of the water from the Terme and Mondony rivers has made its masterpiece by shaping immense blocks of granite and shale in this Mediterranean-style valley …
